教訓編
・People care about my fame, not me.

But that’s fine. I have my own life.

if you honestly believe that love is out there, it will come.

I’m lucky to be in a business where I can change the character I am playing every couple of months.
= 数ヶ月に一度、演じる登場人物を変えられる仕事に就いているのはラッキーです。
・I’ve had my heart broken, and it’s not fun.
= 失恋したことはありますし、楽しいものじゃありません。
But I’d rather have my heart broken than break someone else’ heart.

・Life isn’t what it’s like in the movies.
= 人生は映画のようなものではありません。
・I’m not all that demanding, I don’t think.
= 色々欲しがる方ではない、と思います。
My family might think otherwise.
= 家族はそうは思ってないかもしれません。
・I don’t think there’s a problem with being a teen idol,
= ティーン・アイドルになることに問題があるとは思いません、
if that happens to me, I’ll be happy to deal with it.
= もし僕がそうなったら、喜んで対処します。

・I don’t like to act in my personal life. I like to be straightforward.

素顔編
・I never really considered acting as a career.
= 役者になるとは思っていませんでした。
I kind of fell into it.

Originally, I wanted to be a painter.

・I’m quiet, and I don’t enjoy watching horror flicks, so

am I like Zeke? No way.

so I think I grew up babysitting them.

・I am an insomniac.
= 不眠症です。

Anything modern and progressive.
= モダンで斬新なものは何でも。
・I should be getting photographs of me with my arm around these people like restaurant owners do, because eventually I am going to have to prove to my kids that once I was an actor!
= いつか子供に僕がかつて役者だったことを証明するため、レストランのオーナーがするように手を回して自分の写真を取るべきです。
・I’m proud of ‘Black Hawk Down’ because I think it told a provocative story and it was honest.
= 挑発的な話しを伝えて誠実なので、ブラックホーク・ダウンを誇りに思います。
It could have had more opportunity to tell both sides of the story, but I’m still proud of it.

I check my email as much as anybody, but I’m more old-fashioned in a certain sense.
